Pumpkin's Dice- How to play and how to win!
This is a guide on how to play Pumpkin's Dice, and tips to winning.
The Objective
The goal of the game is to score as many points as possible by rolling dice, and either taking the cards that are shown or passing the turn to the next player. When all the cards have been taken, the player with the most points wins!
Setup
To set up, shuffle the deck of cards and deal six cards to each player. Place the remaining cards face down in the middle of the players to form a draw pile.
Each player then rolls one die, and whoever has the highest number goes first. Play passes clockwise thereafter. On a player's turn they must do one of three things:
- Take one of the face up cards in front of them Pass their turn (if they do not want to take any cards) Roll two dice and take that many cards from either end of the draw pile (face up or face down)
If at any point there are no more cards in the draw pile, shuffle the discard pile and place it face down to form a new draw pile.
## Playing The Game When it is your turn, you can either take one of the face up cards in front of you or roll two dice and take that many cards from either end of the new draw pile. If you choose to roll two dice, you must first decide if you will pick up from head (the top card) or tail (the bottom card). If you choose head, start by picking up the left most card and then go clockwise from there. If you choose tail, start by picking up from rightmost card and go counter-clockwise from there. Note that if you pick up from head or tail, you cannot subsequently redeal those two dice onto another part of your turn - for example, if you pick up two dice from head but want to then get three cards instead, you would first have to put those two back onto head or tail before picking up three more). If at any time you are unable to move due to having no available options, then you must pass your turn.
The basic idea is thus:
- You can either take one of the six cards in front of you OR roll two dice and collect that many fresh cards; BUT You can only ever collect a maximum of six fresh cards per turn; AND You cannot move any card twice in a row (except for converting it into points at game's end).
In order for other players to keep track who is currently winning, whenever someone takes a card they must place it face up in front of them with their colour showing so everyone knows who has which points (and remember: green always goes first). The winner is ultimately determined by whoever has collected most points once all the cards have been taken - counting both those in front of them as well as any opponent's hands too!

Pumpkin's Dice- Can you beat the house?
Looking for a fun game to play with friends? Then look no further than Pumpkin's Dice! This easy to learn game can be played with just two people or a larger group. The object of the game is to beat the house and win all of the chips.
To begin, all players are dealt five cards. The player with the highest card begins the betting round. The player may either bet, fold or raise. The betting round continues until one player either folds or declares they are going all in.
The player who has the highest card starts the next round of betting. In the event of a tie, the player with the second highest card begins the betting round. If there is still a tie, then both players shares the pot equally.
The player who won the last round starts by flipping over the first card from their deck. Both players then choose one of their cards and place it face down in front of them. The player who played the higher card takes both cards and flips over the next card from their deck. This process continues until one player either runs out of cards or they elect not to play a card (this action must be declared before playing any cards). At this point, if one player has more cards than their opponent, they automatically win even if their opponent has a higher ranking card. If both players have the same number of cards, then the higher ranking card wins ( Ace is high and Two is low). The winner takes all of the chips and play resumes with another betting round.
